We are a volunteer based organization who aim to connect with Winnipeg's Downtown Community members. We take our wagons that are full of lunches and dinners for individuals who may need a meal.

Urban Wagons is a grassroots, volunteer-based organization committed to bringing relief of poverty to unsheltered and vulnerable individuals throughout Winnipeg. Guided by compassion, dignity, and community support, our mission is to provide essential necessities such as food, clean water, clothing, hygiene supplies, and emotional support to those facing hardship.

 

We believe that relief of poverty begins with meeting immediate human needs while building meaningful connections with individuals who are often overlooked or underserved. Through the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our community, Urban Wagons works directly on the streets to offer practical assistance, kindness, and hope to people experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, addiction, and other life challenges.

 

Our organization strives to create a safer, more supportive environment where every person is treated with respect and compassion. By addressing urgent needs and fostering community care, Urban Wagons aims to make a lasting impact in the lives of Winnipeg’s most vulnerable residents while promoting dignity, inclusion, and relief of poverty across our city.
