WHO WE ARE
Urban Wagons is a grassroots, volunteer-based organization dedicated to supporting unsheltered and vulnerable individuals in Winnipeg. Our mission is clear: to provide essential necessities such as food, water, clothing, and support to those in need. We actively engage with our unsheltered friends in various Downtown Winnipeg public spaces, including bus shelters and the Millennium Library, to connect them with vital resources and services available in Winnipeg.
Through compassionate outreach, we strive to bridge the gap between the unhoused community and the support systems they require for survival and dignity. Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. We partner with local community members and non-profits, like Community Helpers Unite, to expand our reach and provide comprehensive assistance. Together, we work tirelessly to address the root causes of homelessness and poverty, aiming to create a brighter future for all Winnipeggers.
